    The economy may be in tatters but there is still good news if you look for it. This looks like being one of the best hunting seasons in New Zealand in years.  The recent weather may have been over 30 degrees Celsius, but the stags are oblivious, stripping their antlers and getting ready to roar.

    With the New Year now underway it is only weeks until the start of the new season, which looks like being a cracker.  The trophies are absolutely outstanding.  The conditions have been ideal for antler growth and we have some absolute rip-snorters available this year.  In fact it has been so good that we are concerned that we might not have enough smaller trophies!
